MAX Central
With this Macromedia Central application, MAX conference attendees can get the latest updates and news, whether they're online or off. The application also provides information on all conference sessions, an interactive map, and notifications to remind users when sessions will start. (site of the day 03/11/18より)
MAX CONFERENCE 2003というカンファレンスに関するアップデート情報、ニュースなどが情報がセントラルアプリで構築されている。オフラインでもデータはローカルに保持されるので、ネット環境になくても参加者へのアラーム機能などが使える。地図もインタラクティブで、これに申し込み機能、確認機能まで付けば、かなりよくできたアプリになるだろう。
今のバージョンのセントラルにはblogReaderというRSS的なblog用のアプリもデフォルトで入っている。Rich Internet Applicationの延長線上にあるRich Desktop Applicationの時代へ。サイト・オブ・ザ・デイがアプリ・オブ・ザ・デイの時代へ。セントラル構築キットの一般化が待たれる。
